from the infomation given in the above line chart, it can be seen that funds invested into research and development were on a steady rise, from 50 billion rmb in
2005 to 180 billion rmb in 2014, while the number of people engaging in r&d jumped from 14 million in 2005 to 23.5 million in 2014
many reasons. from my perspective. may account for this phenomenon, with the following ones as more predominant. first and foremost, given the strong influence of new technology exerting on a nation’s comprehensive strength, global position, as well as the public’s welfare, there is no doubt that authorities and corporations will spare no effort to lay emphasis on research and development. secondly, since thefocus on r&d not only stimulates a great demand for skilled workers in the job market, but also fumishes most practitioners with desirable salaries, an increasing number of undergraduates tend to select related majors in university and directly enter into r&d after graduation.
to sum up, the growing trend in the above two aspects is nothing but a blessing.i fimly believe that this tendency will definitely bring incalculable profit to both of the country and citizens.
presented in the subtly painted drawing is a striking scene that a man is chained to a huge clock and works overtime till midnight, overwhelmingly exhausted and depressed. and the caption just infoms us of the disastrous consequence of excessive work.
the cartoonist, from my perspective. may want to trigger our attention to unreasonable workload,
which can be further analyzed from the following aspects. to begin with, past decades have witnessed the increasingly fierce competition among vibrant copotations, which spurs the prevalent practice of working overtime. besides, being detrimental to the health of the staf and the company itself, imposing such heavy workload may not only violate labor laws cnacted by authorities but also fail to achieve the intended
production goals. furthermore, it goes without exaggcration that it is efficiency that plays a significant role in the success of an enterprise. which undoubtedy deserves more attention from executives.
on the basis of the above-mentioned discussion, immediate measures must be employed to tackle this problem and we are looking forward to improvement.
